Following traditional Japanese carpentry practices, Fulmer endeavors to deliver pieces which are full of charm, in a way that pays tribute and respect to the natural environment from which hard and softwood materials are harvested. Intentionally built to be used daily over a long lifespan, every Imoshen piece is a true work of art that brings together form and function. View Our WorkStep 1: Discovery

Drawing on proven expertise in the realm of Japanese-style furniture, our team will plan out a custom-tailored design that fulfills your unique specifications and emanates sleek functionality thanks to features such as classic Japanese joinery. We’ll send 3D renderings for your review, and we’ll welcome any input or requests to modify any features for the most outstanding results.Step 3: Creation
Step 3: Creation
Once we’ve arrived at a design strategy which suits your vision in terms of both appearance and functionality, our esteemed artist will go to work bringing it into reality. Step 4: Installation
When your creation is finished, we will reach out to arrange the best way to send or install it. Allen is a phenomenally talented woodworker and when allowed artistic autonomy can create wonders. Capable of building contract work or commissioned custom pieces, Imoshen runs the gambit. Honest, hardworking, and great craftsmanship should be this company's slogan. I definitely recommend to all who are interested.

We have been working with Allen for three projects: our customized bookshelf, my office table and a matching display table, and our new kitchen cabinet (on going). Every time, the product that Allen made is more than my expectation. Allen's wood works (furnitures) are simply elegant and beautiful and bring the vitality of nature into our house. In addition, Allen is very engaging and responsive. He would listen to what we have in mind, measure the spaces carefully, and come up with a customized design. He is patient and works back and forth with us to get the best design and product. His installation is on time and painless. After knowing Allen, I started to appreciate the art of wood work. Every time when I use or walk through the furniture pieces that he made for us, I feel joyful. I would definitely ask Allen if I have other wood related project in the future.

Allen built us a beautiful dining room table as well as custom shelving in a bedroom closet. He's kind, professional, and has a great eye for detail. We gave him a rough idea of what we wanted and what he came back with was nothing short of perfection. We can't recommend him enough.

I have purchased multiple pieces of furniture from Imoshen Studios. They have all been exceptional quality, and I look forward to having them stay in the family for many generations. Truly heirloom quality pieces of furniture. Allen is great to work with, understood my needs, and helped me realize what I wanted as well. I can’t recommend them enough.

Allen built me a Japanese house. It is 8’ by 11’ feet with all Japanese joinery. He installed the tatami mats and built the circular frame for the Japanese Enso window.
He is one of the most honest and talented builder I have ever dealt with.
